Modern lifestyle leads us to spend most of our time inside our mind, concentrating most of our energy in our head. Grounding is a process that allows us to rebalance this energy, moving it downwards and spreading it throughout the body, this develops that contact with the Earth that provides us with vitality, security and balance.

A greater connection with what is on the physical plane also allows us to be more effective in producing and manifesting on the material plane. This relates as much to work, as to relationships and money. Everything that relates to the physical plane, is more effective if performed while being grounded.

Contrary to what one might think, being more in the physical body does not deprive us of our spiritual dimension, on the contrary! When we are more deeply grounded, meditation and other practices involving spirituality acquire greater consistency and clarity because we are anchored to the ground and have the opportunity to open ourselves upward and inward with a greater sense of safety and stability.

Overall, being more deeply rooted allows us to feel more balanced, more present and more energetic. This process is closely related to the first chakra.
