Session faq

  • Sessions - what to expect

    Expect to feel the energy starting to move up to a week before the session, as both mine and your intentionalities activate for the purpose of working on anything within yourself that is asking for healing. The morning of our session I will start holding space for the work to come. By the time we meet, the space will have been created and the work will have already started several days/hours before.

    Following the session, expect the energy to keep moving for several hours and days. This is the healing process being integrated into your energy field and it’s completely normal. You might also feel particularly tired and that too is absolutely normal. Make sure you get plenty of rest and drink enough water.

  • Scheduling

    All appointment hours are in Central European Time, so please make sure to check what time that is in your timezone. You can use any online time zone converter by adding Milan, Italy and your city to check what time it would be for you.

  • Sliding Scale Rate (reduced fee)

    I offer a limited number of appointment slots for sliding scale patients at a reduced fee of €150 or $150 US. To be added to the waiting list, you can send an email to web@ianritter.com with your request including full name and you will be contacted upon availability.

  • Fees and payments

    The fee for a 50-minute session is €300 or 300 US.

    To schedule an appointment, payment is due at time of booking via PayPal.

    If the patient is a no-show, the session is non-transferable and non-refundable.

  • Rescheduling, canceling and no-show

    You’re invited to reschedule or cancel your appointment no later than 48 hours in advance of your scheduled date and time.

    If an appointment is not cancelled 48 hours prior to the initially scheduled meeting time, the session is considered ‘confirmed’ and patients are responsible for payment in full.

    To reschedule or cancel an appointment, reply to the confirmation email that was sent to you.

  • Platform

    All appointments take place on Zoom via video call.

  • How to prepare for the session

    Make sure:

    • Your Zoom app is working. Launch it a few days before the session in case there are updates to be done. If you’re not familiar with the platform, place a test call to someone you know to get the hang of it;

    • You use headphones for better audio quality (wired headphones are preferable to bluetooth ones);

    • Your computer is working. It’s advisable to restart it before the call and have no other applications that might be taking bandwidth running in the background, such as email clients, internet browsers, etc;

    • You’re in a quiet space where you’re free to talk and won’t be overheard or interrupted by anyone. If you don’t have such a space in your house, consider finding a quiet place outdoors or do it from your car somewhere;

    • If you’re outdoors, you have a strong 4G/5G connection;

    • If you’re indoors, that you have a strong wi-fi signal.

  • Language

    Sessions can be conducted both in English or Italian.
